Defining a Personal Vision is a workshop designed to recognize and bring out the expression and individual voice of each student. Most (if not all) photographers go through periods when they “hit a wall” visually. Sometimes we need help seeing exactly what our pictures are about; how do we improve, what do the pictures mean? Over the course of six classes students will be provided with both the time and guidance that will foster a solid body of work. The workshop consists of 5 classes where the students will participate in a series of critiques and exercises and the in the sixth present their work in book form. Each week guidance through both group discussions and one-on-one discussions with the instructor will focus on developing their own visual voice. At the end of the workshop, the students will have been guided through producing a personal portfolio of new work and gain deeper insight into their own personal vision and expression.

This is the last session offered by popular instrucor Grant Leighton before he returns to his native England. Don't miss your chance to work with one of CPAC's most challenging and talented instructors.
